Gordon Bartlett
Gordon Bartlett is not just an instructor — he is the foundation that Pinnacle Arms is built on. A U.S. Navy veteran and retired law enforcement officer with over 13½ years of frontline service, Gordon has operated in environments where hesitation costs lives and firearm proficiency is non-negotiable.
He founded Pinnacle Arms with one mission: to bring the same level of training he relied on in uniform to the citizens of the Tri-State area. Every course, every drill, every lesson is shaped by his personal experience — not a textbook.

Supporting Instructors
Sergio Madero
Sergio Madero brings a rare combination of field experience and professional security expertise to the Pinnacle Arms team. With over 2 years as a park ranger and more than 10 years in armed security, Sergio has spent his career in environments where situational awareness and firearm proficiency are non-negotiable.
As an NRA Certified Instructor and Range Safety Officer, Sergio is dedicated to helping students of all experience levels build real confidence with their firearms in a safe, structured setting.
Veteran
Eric Goodkowsky
Eric Goodkowsky is a U.S. Air Force veteran and one of the most credentialed firearms educators in the Southwest. As an NRA Training Counselor and Instructor Trainer, Eric is certified to train and certify other NRA instructors — a distinction held by very few in the industry.
Eric's expertise spans the full NRA curriculum, including the NRA CCW class, rifle and pistol marksmanship coaching, and chief range safety officer duties. He also holds active CCW instructor certifications for New Mexico and Utah, and is a certified NM Hunter Education Instructor.
